🎮 YouTuber Video Game, Tons of TikTok Updates, V-Tubers Takeover Tokyo, & More:

YouTube group STORROR announces a video game, TikTok has it's own update section in today's newsletter, V-Tubers become Tokyo's Board of Tourism ambassadors, and so much more. Dig in to the latest in creator economy news!

Hey peeps!

Not sure how it's already April, but here we are! If you didn't already know, April 23 is Creator Day, and to celebrate, we want to give away this Audio Technica mic! For your chance to win, shoot me a message on LinkedIn and I'll give you the details. 😎

Now let's jump into the most up to date creator economy news 👇

YouTuber Video Game? 🎮

I'm insanely pumped for this announcement & trailer. If you're not familiar, STORROR is a group of YouTubers who create content on adventure and parkour, and they just announced a video game release. 🤯

This group of creators have been at it for 12 years on YouTube posting consistently and constantly going viral while building a dedicated and enthralled fanbase along the way

Now, if it wasn't already cool enough that the STORROR boys have been dedicated to their craft for over a decade, they are now shaking up the world of video games, YouTubers, and especially the parkour community with this new announcement.

In the trailer for the game, one of the STORROR members said that this launch could do for parkour what the Tony Hawk franchise did for skateboarding, and honestly I couldn't agree more. This will allow for people who don't do parkour to live out something they may have always wanted to do, but don't have the willpower to throw themselves off of a roof. 😅

Even bigger than living vicariously through a video game, this is a massive leap in what content creators bring to the table. Never did I think I would see a game coming out on all of the major platforms that is dedicated to a YouTube channel and its creators.

But as the creator economy progresses and creators being looked up to more and more by the younger generations, I doubt this is the last YouTuber game we'll see come out in the next few years.

Why Google AI is better than ChatGPT 🤖

I got beta access to Google's ChatGPT AI competitor, Bard. Here's why Bard thinks it's better for creators than #ChatGPT 👀

"There are a few reasons why Bard might be a better choice for content creators than ChatGPT.

  • First, Bard is trained on a much larger dataset of text and code, which gives it a wider range of knowledge and a more comprehensive understanding of language. This means that Bard is more likely to be able to generate text that is both accurate and creative.

  • Second, Bard is able to access and process information from the real world through Google Search, which gives it a unique ability to generate text that is relevant to specific topics or events. This can be a valuable asset for content creators who want to create content that is both informative and engaging.

  • Finally, Bard is still under development, but it has already learned to perform many kinds of tasks, including generating different creative text formats of text content, like poems, code, scripts, musical pieces, email, letters, etc. I will try my best to fulfill all your requirements.

  • ChatGPT, on the other hand, is a more general-purpose language model that is not specifically designed for content creation. It is trained on a smaller dataset of text and code, and it does not have the same ability to access and process information from the real world through Google Search. As a result, ChatGPT is not as well-suited for content creation as Bard."

So creators, will you begin to turn to Bard to assist you in your content? Or is GPT your go to bot in the know? Let me know by leaving a comment on this LinkedIn post!
