49 Top Creators of 2022 (plus one dog)

From fashion to video games, podcasts to instagram posts, Forbes' list of the top 50 creators of 2022 boasts creatives from a variety of backgrounds, signaling that medium may not matter as much as we thought when it comes to creative success.

This list by Forbes tosses out the top 50 creators of 2022 listing names like, you guessed it, Charli D'Amelio and Mr. Beast. While seeing these names isn't surprising, we were surprised to see the variety of backgrounds and dynamic content that each individual were known for. Yes, Charli is going to crush it on TikTok and Jimmy will carry YouTube on his shoulders, but having additions such as Marques Brownlee (MKBHD), Tyler Blevins (Ninja), and Vivian Tu, signals to us that regardless of platform, topic, or medium, success can be found in your niche. The one common theme of all of the individuals on this list is that they keep posting.

Whether it be streaming video games, makeup tutorials, outfit hauls, or even a dog pressing buttons; if you continue to post, you may be able to find success regardless of the type of content. So, did your favorite creator make the list?

Creator Economy News 🚨

Creator Spotlight 🔦

Meet Matt Field of Field Days, one of the most wild creators on YouTube today.

Field Days pretty much kept me sane throughout COVID, while we were sitting at home, Field was getting himself into survival situations in Bali, and I can say I definitely lived vicariously through his videos (from my couch 😎) during this time.

Field has had a very unique rise to relevancy, for creators who are in the fishing/survival niche, there aren't many opportunities to branch out and capture a wider audience. Like a modern day Les Stroud, Field is among the first YouTubers to take his survival style videos to the masses. Amassing just under 1.3 million subscribers in two short years, Field has continued to hone in on his craft. Producing more and more captivating content; working on his editing styles, story telling, and camera angles, Field has transitioned his channel from basic survival with minimal editing, to insane edits with a myriad of additions to make his content stronger and more shareable.

Field Days is a fantastic example of a creator who started something because of their passion, and carved out their own niche in the YouTube space. From videos to his own fishing lures and other merch, Field Days has been continuously grinding and tweaking his content, and it has certainly paid off. From watching him survive on the beaches of Bali or in the tinny, to seeing him purchase a brand new boat is an incredible thing to watch as a fan. I hope to continue to see Field inspire more creators to continue to hone in on their craft and make the adjustments necessary to succeed, and inspire more people to want to go out and find adventure.
