Creator Economy News 🚨

This week in the creator world, creators utilizing AI to produce more content and make more money, how the ban on TT may mess with businesses, Prime Energy is sending kids to the hospital, TT AI, Baby Keem, and more. This week in creator economy news:

• The creator economy is far from dead, and AI is giving it some more life. Software dev company, Lightricks, released a study on U.S. based creators. They found that creators are securing more brand deals, and are leveraging AI to make more money and more content.

• Have you ever wondered what may happen if TikTok actually gets banned in the U.S.? Welp, this is how it may mess with creators, businesses, tourism, and beyond.

• Have you ever tried Prime Energy? Welp, if you’re under 18, you may have to wait even longer. Multiple countries pose the potential risk of drinking Prime, including “increased heart rate, high blood pressure, dehydration, sleep disturbances, anxiety, and even addiction.”

• TikTok is set to launch their own AI chatbot, and clearly they didn’t learn anything from Snapchat. 😅 But honestly the importance here is TT’s ability to potentially bypass a Google search with the help of AI sharing info on certain topics.

• Honestly this one is for me and all the hip hop head readers, Baby Keem & Kendrick released a new song with heavy ties to Tyler, the Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw 2023 festival. Sign me up!

• Say goodbye to YouTube Stories! ✌️But honestly, did anyone actually use this feature? I don’t think I used it once, and I’m on YT daily. 🤔

Meet Gupp!

I recently made the mistake of getting into Rust, and if you don’t know what that is then good… please skip this rabbit hole 😅

Jokes aside, Rust is an open world multiplayer survival video game and it is intense to say the least. With this new game came a new, very large learning curve, but YouTube videos have been helping me learn the ropes.

One of the creators that I’ve been watching the most frequently has been Gupp.

Gupp has been creating content on this channel for only six months now, but has amassed almost 60k subs in that time! Rust is a hard video game to break into as a content creator, and it’s even harder to make your content entertaining and relatable as the game is so difficult.

Through his comedic commentary and strong storytelling, Gupp has grown a super strong following and in less than a year has become one of the top Rust content creators.

I’ll keep watching Gupp, but I’m going to avoid any of the servers he’s on because well… I’m terrible and he would absolutely take all of my loot. 😂
