๐Ÿ˜… Logan Paul Gets Sued, YouTubers Partner with A24, Shorts Monetization Begins, & More

Logan Paul faces heat from his CryptoZoo NFT project (scam), RackaRacka joins forces with A24 to distribute the YouTuber's horror film, Shorts Monetization is bringing in the bucks, and more. This week on CreatorPad:

Super Bowl is this weekend and I'm hoping to see some creators being showcased in commercials. We know that Logan Paul and KSI will be having a commercial (or will they, after the lawsuit against Jake? ๐Ÿ‘€), but who are some other creators you hope to see? Personally, I want to see Tariq make a comeback. It's corn! ๐ŸŒฝ

YouTubers Partner With A24 ๐ŸŽฌ

YouTube OG's, RackaRacka are partnering up with iconic production company, A24 to create a distribution deal for their feature horror film, Talk To Me.

You may better know RackaRacka as the crazy Australian dudes who made the absolutely insane Ronald McDonald videos, but they're coming with something even scarier on the horizon.

Twins Danny and Michael Philippou have been creating massively popular content on YouTube for almost a decade. Their YouTube content embodies a mixture of dark comedy, chaos, and (light) horror, making them a perfect pairing for the likes of A24.

Premiering Talk to Me at Sundance Film Festival, crowds ate it up, even going as far as calling this film the "perfect start to a horror film franchise."

With creators beginning to release full length films, partnering with production studios, and creating higher budget content, the brothers behind RackaRacka certainly wont be the last YouTubers who make a splash in the indie film genre (and beyond).

Looking at creators pushing bounds like Yes Theory releasing their documentary, Ice Man, Andrew Callaghan releasing This Place Rules, and even RackaRacka with Talk to Me, it's clear to see that there is a massive opportunity for creators to do something much bigger than just YouTube or other distribution platforms.

What creators would you like to see make a movie? I vote Sam & Colby, something tells me they can create something truly terrifying. ๐Ÿ‘ป

RMR is a fantastic example of spreading your presence as a creator across multiple platforms to find more success (and $$$). From producing killer music, to starting his YT channel 11 years ago, RMR has been a constant source of inspiration and groovy music for me to turn to over the last decade.
