It Just Takes One
When things seem bleak, sometimes just one person can make all the difference.
Readers!
I hope everyone’s 2025 is off to a fantastic start, and we’re already making strides towards hitting our goals for this year.
Keeping things short and sweet this week as we’ve been making some big strides over at CreatorPad, and with that, time to write has become a bit slim.
Regardless of tight schedules, I had to get today’s yap sesh out to you fine folks. With that, let’s dive in.

It Just Takes One
Starting a new venture is a leap of faith. Whether it's posting your first piece of content, launching a startup, or even cooking at home instead of ordering out, the first steps are full of uncertainty. And as we both know, success rarely comes overnight (unless you’re Hailey Welch).
Will your first piece of content go viral? Probably not.
Will your startup get funding immediately? Keep dreaming.
Will you stop ordering Uber Eats while you have food in the fridge begging to be cooked? We both know the answer to that one (go throw out that moldy cheese you heathen).
With the rise of instant gratification, taking on these new challenges is increasingly difficult, and maintaining the push against those challenges is even harder, especially when there’s easier options out there.
You can work as hard as possible, you can push it to the limits, but still find yourself in the same position that you were in when you started.
Take my journey as an example. I started CreatorPad with my co-founder, Dylan, almost three years ago at the time of writing this. In all of this time, we’ve had high highs, and incredibly low lows. We’ve had wins, we’ve had customers, we’ve had advisors, and we still couldn’t get things over the line to get the investment needed to expand growth and make our efforts monetizable (sound familiar, creator friends?).
There were many doubts, and we’ve talked about closing shop in the past (a story for another time), but we never did. We pushed through, waiting for the right person to see the value in what we were trying to build.
And just when we were questioning whether we could continue on this journey, we connected with someone who truly believed in our vision. This was the moment that reminded me why we’re still pushing, almost three years later. To my surprise, it wasn’t the monetary aspect that reignited this passion, it was the infectious energy that came from someone who genuinely believed in what we were creating. Hearing this transparent, but highly positive feedback made these three years of building, uncertainty, and rollercoasters of emotions all worth it. If we didn’t push through, ignoring our better judgement, we would have never met the individual who relit the fire in our bellies.
This push wasn’t easy, it definitely wasn’t glamorous, and it made us realize why start up life is described as “being in the trenches.” But we knew that if we were to stop our push, we may never have the chance to help those we set out to: creators and small businesses.
With this idea in mind, we kept pushing, and kept building until we ran across someone who could feel the value in what we were building, and who we were building for.
And that’s why I want you to keep going.
If we didn’t continue to push against the odds, we would have never found someone who not only understood, but resonated with our mission, our struggles, and the potential impact we could have. Finding this support has allowed us to rediscover the energy and continue building the momentum to help even more creators and businesses around the world.
If you’re in the trenches right now, whether it’s creating, building, or just trying to make it through, I hope this serves as a reminder to keep pushing. Your breakthrough might be just around the corner. All it takes is the right person, the right moment, and your hard work.
