Welcome to this week's issue of the CreatorPad Newsletter, where we update you on all things CreatorPad and the creator economy!

No, you're not crazy, and yes, this newsletter is a few days late (or maybe it's just a few days early... yea let's go with that), BUT it's late for good reason. In the last newsletter, I mentioned that we were gearing up for launch in a few days, and I'm pleased to announce that THE DAY HAS COME!

We could not be more excited to launch this for our incredible community and everyone passionate about the creator space. It's our hope to make the world of content creation a little less lonely and a lot easier to navigate. So check out below to learn more about our amazing new product, the launch of our community (please come drop in and say hello!), and more offerings that we've been working hard on for the last several months. We could not be more pumped, so let's jump right in!

What is CreatorPad's Product? 🎉

Simply put, CreatorPad's main product is an expert marketplace geared towards creators. We have found that while there are millions of us creating content, the world of being a creator can sometimes be lonely, and that includes places to turn to for help.

Being alone on this journey of creation is hard, to say the least. We hope that through our mentorship marketplace, you can connect with an experienced and vetted expert in your niche to sprint through any roadblocks you've encountered, bounce questions off of them, get your content reviewed, and more.

As mentioned above, we're all about helping creators help each other. That's why we've curated a list of vetted experts in the creator space to provide you with the best information available in the market.

Great question!

If you're looking for more information on a potential mentor, you can jump into their profiles which feature many aspects of their journey and experience all in one streamlined place. Read their bios to learn more about them, check out their content to see if they're a good fit for you, and you can even dig into their mentor ratings to check out others' experiences with them! No matter your question about an expert, it's likely that their profile has the answers.

Community is Key 🔑

There are a lot of things that we put a ton of thought into while developing CreatorPad. While there has been plenty of ebb and flow of direction, the one thing that always stood out to was community.

As mentioned earlier, one of my biggest pet peeves with the creator space is that it is so lonely. Whether you're an editor, a video creator, a producer, an audio engineer (or probably all those plus more), there aren't many people who you can speak with about this stuff.

Yea, your friends may be interested in how your work is going, but how often can you have a conversation for hours on end about production or even specific creators? If you vent about things that bug you, does anyone really understand why you want to throw your Mac out the window after Premiere crashed for the 12th time on the same project?

Probably not, but on CreatorPad, you can find a community of creators who are all in a similar boat to you, navigating a similar journey. We hope that through this community, we can develop the place for budding and experienced creators alike to connect, collaborate and grow together.

So How Does It Work? 💡

As we all know, content creation is hard work. That's why we wanted to make CreatorPad's sign up process easy!

In just four simple steps, you will be set up in our community and be ready to book sessions with expert creators. First, join the community! By sharing your name, email and setting a password. From there, you're good to hop right into the community and begin chatting, but keep pushing forward to unlock all of CreatorPad's potential!

After setting up a profile, you will complete a quick questionnaire to tell us a little bit about yourself and your experience as a creator. Sharing your hardships, goals, and other insights will allow us to get a better idea of who you are as a creative and how we can best help you.

After filling out the questionnaire, we'll send you a list of a few mentors we think would best suit your needs, and from there, you can book a 1:1 session or continue to explore more potential mentors and the community!

Regardless if you're ready for mentorship or not, you are always welcomed and invited into our community. We strive to have input from as many creatives as possible to allow for the best experience for all of us in the creator space, so please, if you see something you want to be changed, added, or literally anything else at all, post about it in our community!
