Streaming Struggles 🎥

With MoistCr1TiKal’s recent announcement that he’s no longer exclusive to streaming on Twitch, other streaming platforms look to scoop up creators like Charlie to bolster their rosters.

With this news, one of the biggest names in streaming, Ludwig, had some interesting thoughts to share with his viewers.

Mainly focusing on Twitch, Kick, and YouTube as the main streaming hubs, Ludwig dives into the rise of Kick, issues with the platform, and how those could potentially affect both established and budding creators.

Kick has recently had an uptick in signing streamers over the last few weeks, including well-known names like xQc, YourRage, and SapNap, which in turn, has led to more viewers porting into the platform.

While Ludwig touches on the fact that Kick specifically can be an opportunity to make good money or break into a niche because of the lack of hyper-niche creators on the new platform, he also touches on the negatives.

Kick is currently known as the place that people go when they get banned from Twitch. This in turn has led to the platform being under fire because of their lack of moderation in terms of hate speech and targeting marginalized groups. This could spell trouble for a streamer who is looking to transition to another platform, as you could be lumped in or associated with the bigoted-leaning users on the platform.

While this is a major concern, Ludwig also brings up the point of Kick’s launch of a creator incentive program that pays creators for hourly streaming & allows creators to keep more revenue from their streams, sponsored content, ads, and more.

Because of these positives, Ludwig suggests that this may be an opportunity for smaller creators to earn more capital and establish themselves in the space without being a major streamer, like many competitor platforms such as YouTube and Twitch.

Meet Gawx Art!

When I stumbled on Gawx’s YouTube, I was absolutely blown away. From insanely incredible art to his mind-blowing camera work, edits, color grading, voice-overs, and beyond, Gawx is making the strongest art content that I may have ever seen.

Gawx is an artist based out of Mexico who has amassed over 2M subscribers showcasing his art. From drawing to sculpture, clothing design and beyond, Gawx continues to impress with each upload.

As an artist myself, watching Gawx made me hungry to bust out my sketchbooks and go get some new markers. Not to mention he’s such a pro at editing he literally makes me want to start shooting more footage so I can try out some of his techniques. It’s that good.

Whether you’re watching Gawx for his intricate designs and ‘sexy lines’, or just because you want to engage with some top-tier content, I can’t blame you for either.

If you’ve never seen Gawx before, watching one video will naturally draw you in. From laughing at his awesome voiceovers to being blown away at his art skills, impressive pacing, killer editing, or beyond, you’ll likely find yourself a fast fan.

Definitely go check out Gawx Art and get those creative juices pumpin’! And if you’re not sure where to start, check out my favorite video so far 😎
