Welcome to this week's issue of the CreatorPad Newsletter, where we update you on all things CreatorPad and the creator economy!

While there aren't many internal CreatorPad updates to share in this newsletter, we do have some exciting announcements coming over the next few weeks. Hold tight, and in the meantime, here's the latest in creator news! ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘‡

Congrats & Thank You to Colin & Samir ๐Ÿฅฒ

At VidSummit earlier this week, the dynamic duo Colin & Samir hit 1M subscribers while on stage, doing what else but answering questions from creators.

To me, Colin & Samir are the thought leaders in the creator space; I find myself constantly looking to them for insight on all things creator economy, and the inspiration that they provide helps keep me passionate and engaged in this exciting realm of content creation. From their fantastic newsletters (shoutout Hannah Doyle!) to their in-depth videos breaking down the biggest names and news in the creator space, Colin & Samir carry a ton of weight regarding their thoughts on the latest in the creator economy.

In the video linked below, Colin & Samir speak on their thoughts in the moment, they share what this achievement means to them and what it means to the creator journey as a whole. They're your favorite creator's favorite creators, so if you don't know them yet, it's time to get acquainted!

On a more personal note, Colin & Samir are one of the main reasons that I'm doing what I'm doing today. My first ever jump into content creation two years ago was through a podcast interview that broke down their full story. From this point on, I was not only hooked on creating content but also on Colin & Samir as thought leaders, creators, and moreover, guides through these turbulent waters of content creation. So on the off chance you're reading this, thank you and congratulations, Colin & Samir. You've been an inspiration for more creators than you could possibly imagine, myself included. The whole team at CreatorPad can't wait to see what you guys do from here. Here's to the next million subscribers and beyond! ๐Ÿฅ‚

Dude Perfect to Build 10 Acre HQ

"Dude! Perfect!"

If you've been on YouTube for a while, you've likely heard these words before. Dude Perfect, the trick shot aficionados, recently unveiled plans to build a headquarters that, of course, includes a 330-foot tower to complete trick shots on.

This evolution into physical space is certainly in line with Dude Perfect's ambitions of creating "a destination where families could just have an absolute blast in a very unique way,โ€ as mentioned by Coby Cotton, one of the founders. From watching these guys doing trick shots in their backyard 13 years ago (holy nostalgia) to creating a literal theme park, their creator journey is certainly not like most others, but a lot can be learned from the group.

This massive leap into the physical space signals to me that the creator economy, and being a creator, can carry way further than just videos, merch, or live events. Dude Perfect's ambitious goal of building this dynamic headquarters should signal to other creators to dream big. Do you believe this group thought they would be running a cruise, let alone building a multi-million dollar HQ when they were shooting hoops in their backyard over a decade ago? Dream big, creators, and take a note from the Dude Perfect dudes; keep evolving, and more importantly, keep posting!

Meet Jacob Geller!

Since it's October, I thought I could get us in the spooky season mood by sharing Jacob with you guys.

I first came across Jacob's work two years ago when I found this video. Fear of Depths. This cold, dark, almost thalassophobia-inducing thumbnail snagged me and pulled me in (pun absolutely intended), and it was here that started my love for Jacob's storytelling abilities.

His calm and collected voiceovers paired with chilling video to accompany his narration can make the hair on the back of your neck stand up in the best way possible. From listening to Jacob's work, you can tell that he is a storyteller at heart. His words carry every story he tells with ease and creates a deep sense of curiosity on the subject at hand. If you need story telling inspiration, definitely check out Jacob's work.

Jacob focuses on a good amount of video game related content, but also explores deep dives into topics such as perception, short stories (here's my personal favorite), movies, and so much more. I can't recommend Jacob's videos enough; especially if you're looking for that fix of Spooktober content.

Keep up the awesome work, Jacob! ๐Ÿ‚
